I was back from the marathon, safe at my apartment when the explosions happened. My uncle ran it, he and my visiting family are safe. This is so scary, realizing I was a few minutes from all of this. People in Boston: stay safe/stay inside. Limit phone/data usage. We have several great hospitals here, we will be informed if blood donations need to be made. Boston Globe twitter is the best source for updates.

I saw Tame Impala this summer at Lolla and had no idea who they were.

And I was close to the stage.

Real close.

And I watched their entire set from my super close spot and thought: “Huh they’re pretty good… but more importantly I have to pee and need water. Now.”

I just think it’s funny…

I remember being very sweaty and feeling the sun and calmly yet excitedly fully realizing we were at a festival. And then agreeing about water.

I also remember that those are the details I share when I talk to anyone about Tame Impala, and I never get tired of it.

I’m bummed no one who looks at the kasabian tag uses the Goggles browser add on. I doodled a little something months ago and no one’s added to it! We all have such potential…
